After 4 years of being active in social media, mostly in English speaking areas, I can say that Google has choosen a great strategy by not allowing anyone to register for an account to its latest masterpiece Google +.
Social media means virtual real estate assets so I am as passionate about it as I am with the regular down to earth real estate.
Google has the right mindset, people, investment, knowledge, logistic and the overall resources to make this big. Only few people if we take as a measurement the total amount of social media activists were invited so they created a huge buzz around their project. Great strategy, btw.
Here is a video published by Google explaining more about their project:
As I am in the middle of the journey to discover myself and improve all areas of my life using training, coaching, and an improved structured way to do things, by far the most important thing to focus on is the mindset. Looking back, I’ve attracted in my life positive and negative facts, various happenings and people and the conclusion is that all these were dragged as a reflection of my thoughts and feelings. Below is a quote from The Secret and is one of the many you will find in the next period among the articles published here. Your … Continue reading What we think actually shapes the world around us
OK. So you have finally decided to become an affiliate marketer. You have finally settled on what products you are actually going to sell. Now, how to promote them?
Very little, if any, arguments exist as to the best way of promoting your affiliate marketing products—web sites. Yes, yes, the gazillions of websites, not to say affiliate marketing sites, out there make it quite difficult to end up on your page right away, but you don’t have to fret: with the power of search engines, pretty much everything is possible nowadays. If concepts such as “web hosting” and “creating your own affiliate marketing site” are relatively alien to you (as it is for quite a lot of people), then this article is for you.
Affiliate marketing can be easy if you know how to utilize relevant help well. These relevant help include, and are pretty much dominated by, web hosting. Web hosting come in as many shapes and sizes as affiliate marketers and their needs, which is reasonable, seeing as one way or another, an affiliate marketer really does have a specific web hosting that will cater to his or her needs perfectly.
Why would you need web hosting anyway? Affiliate marketing is a profession, and in order to be competent enough for your prospects, you need to appear as professional as possible. You need your own domains to promote your products beautifully. If you have multiple affiliate marketing products, you need as many affiliate marketing sites. In order for these affiliate marketing sites to work as they should, you need all the help you can get (especially if you know little about these technical web stuff). So how do you determine the proper web hosting? Continue reading “How to Choose the Perfect Web Hosting for Your Affiliate Sites”

I love buying CD’s and vinyls. I also download (only legally) music but nothing compares with the joy of buying a new record for my collection. It was a rainy afternoon, a few year back in London when I spotted in one of the Virgins (Virgin Megastores) a stilish CD cover which was different from all the others. Hed Kandi? Hm! I always try new stuff so I bought it immediatly. In the same afternoon I listened it on my laptop. Next thing in the morning I bought another 3 compilations and I became addicted to Hed Kandi music, spirit … Continue reading My first meeting with Hed Kandi
One of my favorite places on earth will be getting a lot of positive attention starting later this month when “Survivor” begins filming its 21st season in and around San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Then, for 14 weeks this fall, some 13 million U.S. households will tune in to CBS every Wednesday night to watch 20 Survivorists tromp around the Nicaraguan jungles.
This is a big deal for a little country like Nicaragua. I’ve seen the effects of this kind of thing in the past. When “Temptation Island,” for example, aired its Isla Bonita season filmed on Ambergris Caye, Belize, suddenly, overnight, this outpost of divers and fishermen was a household name.
The Temptation Island Effect created a new and higher-end (US$1 million-plus) market on this formerly unnoticed Caribbean island, the vestiges of which I viewed recently. All along Ambergris’ white-sand coast today are condo developments built to supply the Temptation Island viewers who, having been introduced to this island paradise in prime time, wanted to claim a little piece of it for themselves. How cool it became to be able to say, “I’m going down to spend a week on the beach at my place on Ambergris Caye…you know, the island off Belize where ‘Temptation Island’ was filmed…” Continue reading “The Survivor Effect–It Couldn’t Happen To A More Deserving Spot”
A friend in Europe called this week to ask if I thought my Marketwatch members would be interested in bank foreclosure deals in Mediterranean countries. My friend has been active as a broker and developer in Spain and Croatia for more than a dozen years and has contacts elsewhere in Europe, as well.
I assured him that, yes, this is the kind of opportunity I’m keen to bring my Marketwatch members, and I’m reviewing details for a forthcoming Marketwatch report now.
The kinds of extreme bargains my Euro-market contact is telling me about are available in many markets right now. The key is locating them. You won’t find these kinds of deals on the Internet. You have to have “boots on the ground,” as they say, either your own or those of a reliable contact (like my friend), someone active in the market where you’re shopping.
