Up or out!

It took me two days to find a t-shirt with a meaningful message so I can wear it during one of the latest conferences I had the opportunity to speak at. Usually, I buy 80% of my clothes from New Yorker, the rest is split between Primark and other brands. New Yorker speaks my language, I can choose what I want in minutes, I feel great wearing their stuff. Maybe I will pitch them one day to become one of their influencers. I use to look at Sauvage commercials in shops and think that one day I will be able to be part of commercials like Johnny Deep is doing. I love the shopping experience at Primark, especially when I am in Uk on Oxford Street.

Usually, I buy stuff for my wife and three daughters for the same reason, it speaks my language when shopping for my girls, and other family dresses, so occasionally I purchase also stuff for myself. One month ago I took the weird decision to start a newsletter on Linkedin, and also a more in-depth version on Substack (feel free to subscribe on both) called Inside My Head: The New Entrepreneurship in The Digital assets Era.

The Quick Shortcut To Become Wealthy

10 years ago if you wanted to launch a business or even to test an idea you had to rent an office, furnish and create the IT infrastructure for it, spend a lot of dough as startup costs, and all that jazz.

Now you can create a funnel, put a team in a coworking space, plug the laptops in space’s IT infrastructure and bang, you can start something. The power of the internet has caused the transaction costs to become smaller and smaller, as time goes by. So, in theory, it is easier than ever to start a project but most of the beginner entrepreneurs are lured in the idea to raise funds and make money and are not focused on creating real, lasting value. And here is their biggest seatback.

What’s the biggest mistake that entrepreneurs are making? Many companies are just using the internet and technology to slash costs and they do everything possible to outsource as much possible. They focus on cutting the costs instead of using the internet and the tech facilities at hand today to actually create much better products. And this trend is helped by the gooroos promoting via books, courses, webinars, and seminars the mindset that you can just use the internet, don’t work at all, or maybe just a little bit, outsource everything and lay low on a sunny beach. The whole value building idea is somehow out of the equation. And this is wrong and it is bad both for the business, the customers and all other stakeholders.

The Free Will Magnified Is The Real Danger Of Social Media

In the entrepreneurship world, people talk about mindset all the time and how important it is for success. We all are manipulated in one way or the other through TV and social media. The fake gurus are all over teaching us how to become millionaires but at the end of the day, they may struggle to pay their rent and many of them are just broke manipulators.

Would you let somebody perform an open heart surgery if the person happens to be just an avid reader and publisher of information about heart surgery but not a skilled practitioner?

Other people’s opinion can kill your marketing and your business

Sometimes there is a wall blocking our imagination and this is … what other people think.

We are taught since childhood to care about what other people may think about us. And while this could keep us on the safe side of things it can break and destroy all our business efforts. And it can affect our life overall.

This is the reason many businesses don’t go all in with their marketing and waste opportunity after opportunity … from the fear of what people say.

I had tons of bad moments in my life and business when I realized that I am all alone in front of the troubles so why should I care. There are companies missing sales, missing growth and going down towards bankruptcy because they fear this one thing — pushing their marketing to new heights. Book of the week Russell Conwell Acres of Diamonds

I believe most of us want to achieve more and feed our mind with only the good stuff. And an amazing way to achieve this is through reading more books. Starting this week because anyway I read in average one book per week I will post here and in my social media accounts every week a short business or personal development book review.

The purpose of my effort is to kick you in the butt to actually read more and develop yourself. For this week I’ve chosen to start with Acres of Diamonds by Russell Conwell.

Russell Herman Conwell (February 15, 1843 – December 6, 1925) was an American Baptist minister, orator, philanthropist, lawyer, and writer. He is best remembered as the founder and first president of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as the Pastor of The Baptist Temple, and for his inspirational lecture, Acres of Diamonds. He was born in South Worthington, Massachusetts, and was buried in the Founder’s Garden at Temple University.

Book of the Week Club: Circle of Profit by Anik Singal or How to understand the mechanics behind building a 1 million dollars digital information business in less than 6 months #bookoftheweekclub

Because I receive a lot of messages about what I’m reading, what I’m using, what learning resources I access to advance in life and business will start three new categories on my blog: “Book of the Week Club” with the hashtag #bookoftheweekclub, “Course of the Week Club” with the hashtag #courseoftheweekclub and “Software of the Week Club” with the hashtag #softwareoftheweekclub.

The main purpose of this blog is to teach you about #enterpreneurship and how to grow as a human being and a business person. Why I’m doing that? Let me explain: Few months ago I was chatting on Facebook with a potential JV partner offering him the opportunity to promote a webinar about publishing ebooks on Kindle. The guy wrote something which really shocked me: “I have a list of more than 100 k subscribers but they are more personal development seekers than personal development doers. They buy products showing them how to expect everything from the sky and the law of attraction but they don’t want to do anything at all”.

Guys and gals, even the Attraction word contains the word action. I personally was a big procrastinator and even now I have courses boxes bought 10 years ago which were never opened. The majority of people buy a life changing book, they put in on the shelf and maybe, maybe read the first chapter. This is crazy.

Also most of the buyers of digital products and ebooks with a cost of less than 30 usd never use them. So you can send crap and you will get refunds only from the small portion of the buyers who actually use them. This is stupid crazy.

Once I did a test because I didn’t believe these statistics and I am the guy who wants to test everything. I’ve put a product for sale, a digital product and it was nothing on the download page. Out of 200 buyers, only one sent an e-mail that he can’t download anything from the thank you page. Of course, I sent to the customer the files manually with some cool unannounced bonuses and added the downloads to the thank you page.

But I really want you to be different. I want you to take action, to make things happen and on my blog you will find every week a book, a course and a software explained and reviewed based on how I use them, what I learn from them so we will be able to learn together. Feel free to comment, share the posts with your friends because the purpose of every post is to help at least 1,000 people. I will use the blog, Linkedin Pulse and live video/ Youtube to shout out about these learning elements. I don’t know exactly how I will proceed with sharing this information but today I just make the first baby  steps. I don’t have a plan for what to review in the next weeks, what I know is that I have access to a ton of resources, so I need to be more organised in actually learn from them and share the knowledge with you.  For some of the resources I receive free access from the publishers, I buy others and there is a category where I help the creators in the actual promotions so if you purchase based on my recommandation one of my businesses will earn a commission.

Most people don’t realize about how lucrative the public speaking can be. As in everything, 80% of the money is made by 20% of the speakers. Or even worse! Do you know that 98% of the money, business and assets on Earth are under the control of 2% of the population?

So the reality is than only a small part of the speakers make any money and can support themselves for speaking and just a small … very small percentage make insane amount of money speaking. Most people can’t even imagine how their life would be to be paid at least 5,000 eur for a 90 minutes speaking gig. Imagine having 1 such gig per month, or two or four … Just imagine and enjoy this journey in your mind or … make it part of your life.
