De fiecare data cand ajung in Cartierul Greenfield din Baneasa si merg des in ultima vreme am un deja-vu cu minunata perioada din copilarie cand imi vizitam bunicii la Predeal si savuram aerul de munte. Aerul este diferit de restul Bucurestiului – pot confirma. Am zis initial ca ma sugestionez sa il simt altfel dar dupa incercari repetate m-am convins ca e “for real”. Sa mergi la SPA este un must have pentru oricine doreste sa investeasca in propria sanatate

Unul dintre preturile pe care oricine doreste sa exceleze in business trebuie sa le plateasca inseamna sa petreaca foarte multe ore la birou, evntual in fata calculatorului, sa faca fata multor situatii stresante si unor presiuni de multe ori foarte greu de suportat. Sedentarismul este periculos pentru ca odata instalat ca obicei este foarte greu de inlaturat iar efectele pe termen lung asupra organismului uman pot fi devastatoare.


Echilibrul dintre mental si corp nu este nici usor dar nici greu de stabilit insa de cele mai multe ori necesita ajutor specializat. Noi romanii zicem ca ne pricepem la toate si de fapt aceasta este o cursa foarte periculoasa. Cei mai de succes oameni pe care ii cunosc au de exemplu un mentor pentru business, un consilier pentru relatii (chiar de cuplu), unul pentru modul in care se imbraca, un coach pentru fitness s.a. Aceasta delegare daca poate fi numita asa le asigura acel succes pe multiple planuri care pentru multi dintre noi pare de domeniul SF. Din pacate, traim intr-o societate in care suntem inoculati cu ideea ca trebuie sa muncim pentru o pensie de la stat si ca e gresit sa traim in bunastare si plinatate pana la 100 de ani. De asemenea, suntem tinuti ocupati de dimineata pana seara intre 25 si 50 de ani astfel incat sa nu avem grija de noi si sa ne cheltuim la varsta a III-a toti banii pe medicamente.

VentureConnect – Prima editie din 2011



Cea de-a treia editie a VentureConnect se va desfasura pe 20 iunie 2011. Printre invitati se numara Kenneth P. Morse, antreprenor in serie si William Aulet, senior lecturer la MIT Sloan School of Management, ambii din Statele Unite, precum si 3TS Capital Partners.

Un proiect de pionierat in domeniu, VentureConnect a ajuns la cea de-a treia ediție, care este organizata și va avea loc pe data de 20 iunie 2011, la Hotel Intercontinental București. VentureConnect este prima inițiativa din Romania care aduce laolalta antreprenori si investitori potențiali din domeniul IT/Internet/Tehnologie.

La aceasta ediție sunt asteptati investitori din Statele Unite, Europa de vest, din regiunea centrala si est-europeana si bineințeles din Romania. Alaturi de Kenneth P. Morse, fondator al MIT Entrepreneurship Center și William K. Aulet, director al MIT Entrepreneurship Center din Statele Unite, se numara si 3TS Capital Partners care intenționeaza sa lanseze in lunile urmatoare “3TS Catalyst Fund Romania”, un fond de investitii de aproximativ 30 milioane EUR, finantat partial prin intermediul programului JEREMIE al Fondului European de Investiții și care targeteaza sectorul IT și online.

Getting Word of Mouth Started: New Book PR Method

We wanted feedback and a greater audience before publishing the print version of our new book. We gambled on a ‘public and peer review’ to help improve the quality of our book, and at the same time get out word of mouth. Did it work?

Authors and business people often go to extremes to publicize their book or product launch. Sometimes, the most successful method can appear in front of them. Take for example, book publicity. It is the one of the toughest cases to crack. Each year, at least 50,000 authors are published in the United States. Tens of thousands of authors publish electronic books. Most fail to get noticed. Very few achieve any of their goals as authors – to build up readership.

Here’s a way to get the word out and polish off your book before it hits the stores: sampling. Major corporations utilize focus groups, pollsters and other marketing experts to build up their brand name. This is similar to planting seeds to get a garden or orchard to grow. The more seeds you plant, the better your chances to grow vegetables or apple trees. As an author, you can use sampling or “seeding,” to build up awareness of your book. During the publishing process, we discovered a clever way to attract readers, and at the same time, we can upgrade our book.

Managers: Should Your PR Budget Stress Tactics or Strategy?

If tactics are the name of the game for you, it really means you are not planning to effectively alter individual perception among your key outside audiences which then would help you achieve your managerial objectives.
If public relations tactics like special events, brochures, broadcast plugs and press releases dominate your answer, you’re missing the best PR has to offer.

Such a budget would tell us that you believe tactics ARE public relations. And that would be too bad, becauseit means you are not effectively planning to alterindividual perception among your key outside audienceswhich then would help you achieve your managerialobjectives.

With poor quality of clients, the business will be poor and if you manage to get very good clients and retain their loyalty, your business will only go up and up. This all sounds very exciting. But it is not easy to get very good clients and all the more difficult to retain them. After all, whatever you do, your competition is trying the same and may use better techniques to get business. Are there any innovative approaches to client relationships?

We are talking about direct sales in this discussion and not about selling merchandise to large consumer base. For example if you are a contractor maintaining air conditioners in clients work places. Or a direct seller of computer hardware to business buyers, and all such businesses where your sales to individual clients are large, and you are in direct contact with clients.
