DEMAND CONTINUES TO OUTSTRIP SUPPLY IN BUCHAREST

Despite forward progress in the Romanian property industry, supply problems still persist in Bucharest, however the gap is closing according to CEE analyst REAS, which examined over 220 residential projects in July to compile its report. Releasing its findings earlier this month, it found that just over 2,500 apartments and houses were delivered in the Romanian capital in 2007, in contrast to Warsaw, for example, which recorded 15,700 new apartments coming on the market during the same period. Despre piata creditelor ipotecare din Romania

Cu un ritm anual de crestere de pana la 75%, piata creditelor ipotecare din Romania nu reprezinta decat 3,4% din Produlul Intern Brut. Nivelul este extrem de mic fata de cel al statelor dezvoltate din Europa, unde imprumuturile pentru case au o pondere de 50% din PIB. Potrivit studiilor de piata, doar 5% din bucuresteni pot obtine imprumuturi de peste 100.000 de euro cu un grad de indatorare de 30%. Abia in 2007 a fost depasit pragul de 40.000 locuinte finalizate intr-un an in Romania – 45.867, ajungandu-se aproape de nivelul anului 1990 cand s-au finalizat 48.599 unitati. Este mult, este putin?
