Some people say that “job satisfaction” means “good money”, others say that it means a “stressfree” job. For me, when I try to explain this I think of Sir Richard Branson’s quote: “Whenbusiness stops being fun throw it away!”. Richard runs the business empire called Virgin andI simply don’t think that he never had struggles and abandoned businesses at the first signs ofhard times to come.For me, this term, “job satisfaction” is very important. It makes me start the business day with asmile and to kickstart everything which I have in mind. Being an entrepreneur in an hostilebusiness world it is very easy to feel defeated because reasons for this appear almost every day.Since I am not a quitter, I decided to set my mind for success only and not to accept any wind offailure. Failure is like a disease which tries to conquer us day in and day out.

Sometimes I havethe impression that there is a contest where failure competes with itself, the goal being to haveas many lifes as possible destroyed. The major question is how to avoid being a player in sucha race? Or not to be in the city where such a race is on. Or even better, not to share the countrywith the racers. Can this be possible?It is written in books that all the results in life comes from the mindset. The subconscious mind islike a factory and the thoughts, positive or negative are like material outputs of it.

The core idea is that if you will find yourself surrounded with negative stuff there isn’t any possibility toexpect the positive magic happenings in your life.So the job satisfaction is not possible to come from negative beliefs. It can only come frompositive experiences and from passion. It is a truly gift to love your work, to put passion in it andto be thankful that you have the possibility of working in the industry that fits best your way ofbeing and your personality. I am used to fight not every day, but most of the time to fight to survive, to prosper, to avoid thetraps arranged by others and to keep going further. Going further …. Where? Going further inpursuing the goals no matter what.An example “from the books” learned from Mr. Trump is related with clothes. When you wish tohave a better job, get dressed as being employed to the new job and sooner or later, theopportunity of evolving will knock on your door. In other books I read about a way of doing thingsbeing recognized as the path to evolution: to do the best to get the job done even if you are in theworst job position available.

This way of completing things will allow you to melt in one day thebricks standing between you and the success you desire in life.So, what is “job satisfaction”? Is that feeling that you spend quality time on Sunday even if youwork 12 hours a day. The feeling is phenomenal. I even saw a coaching programme presented byan American guy called Sam Crowley and entitled – “Every Day is Saturday”. I simply love thedays when I feel this way and I am more productive, more pleased of my work and simply getresults. There is a mystical combination between passion, dedication and pleasure which makesthe wheels to run.

I just started a coaching programme with a family friend who is also life coach and when fillingthe initial form it was a question: “Which dreams you dropped on your way?”. My answer was verydry. “I didn’t dropped any!”. Am I crazy or what? Or … Am I a senseless dreamer? Nope!Everything in business starts with a vision, a dream or a so called desire.

After that comes in the scene the definition of a purpose. A purpose? Yes, a purpose, a real one,
a juicy one which will indulge vibrations of thoughts only when reffering with the mind to it. Such
a purpose can work like an old chinese medicine when taken on an empty stomach, can be like
the air conditioning in a hot day or like a heater in a cold winter afternoon. Then comes the
organised thinking.

I read in a valuable book – “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill that the power of the capital and
the organised thought made America what is it today from the economic power point of view.
If you have this thing, the “job satisfaction” inside of you it is very easy to have organised thoughts.
These are like some hard workers, arranging the pieces of the business puzzle for you to be able
to start over every day from a fresh perspective.

This book is in the public domain in the United States which means that has no copyright claims
and can be downloaded for `free. When I heard about this I said … How interesting can be a free
book? And that’s why I didn’t bother reading it immediatly. After I read it I understood from another
perspective what means job satisfaction because the author spent 20 years on research to get this
book done. Can you do this without “job satisfaction”? No. It is needed also something else besides
money to drive you to have such persistence?

How hard is to acquire this satisfactory feeling when everything around seems to collapse or when
you have the impression that all people around you evolve and do things right and you don’t seem
to go in the right direction? It is hard, but I also learned that big things require a lot of work, effort
and dedication.

I am a positive person and I try to see all the time noy just the empty part of the glass, preffering
to see the full one. Of course, there are moments when I become tired and I say … Positive,
positive, or what? Where is the limit?

As a conclusion, job satisfaction means to work in the field you like most, doing everything with
passion, dedication and to achieve the best performances possible.
I am not an easy person when comes to work in a team. One of the main problems is that
usually I am workaholic, I don’t eat at lunch and if I eat then it is not something like going out,
spending one hour on it. I preffer to do other things. Of course, traffic in the city is a waste of time
in most of the cases. What I have to do is to take some eBooks and to play them in my car. I like to
read or to listen to an audio material which will give me new ideas, new opportunities and new
approaches.

Also something else related with the job satisfaction is how to mix the business with the family.
It is not simple at all but can be done. As I learned, the basic idea is to find as many common
occupations with the other members of the family to have many opportunities to stay with them.
Of course, mixing family and business seems not to be a great idea in some moments, but on
the long term it was prooved to be a reliable choice.
