2011 Manx Telecom Bay Festival Press Release

The 2011 Manx Telecom Bay Festival in association with Manx Radio has been officially launched today (Thursday 2nd December) with a new website and brand identity to compliment what promises to be an exciting year.

Nobles Park and Valhalla will once again play host to the Manx Telecom Bay Festival with the event now taking up a much larger footprint in the park. Acts already confirmed include the world’s number 1 dance show – Michael Flatley’s LORD OF THE DANCE, Britain’s Got Talent meets the X-Factor and playing for the first time on the Island, Peter Andre and Ministry of Sound. Headline acts for Saturday and Sunday night are yet to be announced but the acts confirmed already make an impressive line up for the 2011 Manx Telecom Bay Festival.

One of the biggest lineup changes from the 2010 Manx Telecom Bay Festival will see Valhalla transformed from an intimate music arena into a comedy venue to rival the Hammersmith Apollo. ‘Comedy in the Park’ will feature top UK comedians with Jo Brand, Alan Carr and Andy Parsons already confirmed, along with a support band to create an hilarious opening night.
